Welcome hungry people,
I am a curious creative, not a really good cook and even less of a baker. Nevertheless, I am a hopless food-enthusiast and willing to learn the art of cooking. So while I am on the hunt for new ideas, exploring the kitchen world and learn new tricks – I invite you to join me on my journey.
Food is not only feeding your system, but can also revive memories from the past. Often times a smell or taste can take you back to a happy time from your past. As I am not the best cook, I try to recollect and preserve my food memory by illustrating . In my little yellow book I keep sketches from comfort food before I try to actually cook them.
Art comes in many different forms which include audios, visuals and more. Audios comprise songs, music, poems and more whereas visuals include painting, photography, movies and more. You will notice that we consume a lot of audio art in the form of music, songs and more. It is because they help us to relax our mind – same goes for the art of cooking. Moreover, it also has the ability to change our mood and brighten it up, so for me it made sense to combine art and food in this blog.
There is a poetry about the ingriedients that, motivates and strengthens our emotions expressed in a dish. For as long as humanity has existed, art has been part of our lives. For many years, people have been creating and enjoying art. It expresses emotions or expression of life. It is one such creation that enables interpretation of any kind.
It is a skill that applies to music, painting, poetry, dance and food. Artists use their artwork for passing along their feelings. Thus, art and artists bring value to society and have been doing so throughout history. Art gives us an innovative way to view the world or society around us. Most important thing is that it lets us interpret it on our own individual experiences and associations.
Art is similar to live which has many definitions and examples. What is constant is that art is not perfect or does not revolve around perfection. It is something that continues growing and developing to express emotions, thoughts and human capacities.
At the end of the day an artist requires just as much the food to satisfy his hunger, as it does for the food to be prepared by an artist in order to satisfy.
